I bought some new Sidi Genius 4 shoes to use with the new Time Impact pedals. I started by using the Sidi screws with the Look adapter that comes with the shoes and that didn't work because the screw heads were quite high and wouldn't let me clip into the pedal. Next I tried using the Time screws that came with the cleats. Either the screws are too short or the curvature of the sole is too much for the cleats so the screws are continually loosening.
My LBS has proposed using the Time adapter with the Time shoe screws that came with the pedals. Any other thoughts about the best way to go?
