Currently I have Jannd Mountain Panniers. Good panniers, but my problem with them is that the compression straps are untidy and hang loose if the pack is not stuffed (I use them for touring and for daily commuting). I'm thinking of getting Arkel panniers (XM-40).
How well do Arkel's work if they're not full? Do the straps hang loose or can they be tucked away easily? Do they work well with Blackburn's Mountain Rack?
