  1. Hi, I am going on a 20 day trip with twi friends to cycle from London to Geneva or maybe Rome depending on how tired we get.

I know about the onboard computers, but i was wandering if it is possible to get some sort of tracker in a watch or the onboard computer which can work out and record where you travel. Can you get anything that would allow you to print off on google maps or something similar everywhere you have cycled so you can see it after the trip?

We are sticking mainly to cycle routes and have it mainly planned, but if you could offer any advice or help it would be much appreciated too.

    Thank you very much

    Alex

  2. There are plenty of GPSes that will allow you to record a track, and unless you set the sample rate ridiculously tight they should be able to store a 20 day ride.
Don't really know how one would go about superimposing such a track onto google maps though.
Another option is to get a basic GPS car navigator and simply manually log a few positions each ride day.
Or get the full kit with GPS + maps, and set it to record your rides.
