I am about half way through a novice marathon training course and just
encountered blisters. The blisters aren't from running- I am careful about
using Vaseline on my feet and wearing synthetic socks and never had a
problem with them.
This week, however, I went to Washington DC and walked for three days in
regular shoes and the pads of my feet and numerous toes are now blistered in
several places.
I popped them with a clean needle and drained them and am just curious if,
other than the pain, there is any danger in running with blistered feet. I
do not want to get off track with the training program but don't want to do
something that will let a small problem turn into something more
significant.
Thanks,
Shawn
