  1. Please understand that this is NOT a sales pitch.

I have listed the following item on eBay http://tinyurl.com/l3p7d
and someone has inquired as to whether this hub will accept either 8,
    9, or 10 Hyperglide cogs?

I know a 7-speed Hyperglide fits it but I don't own and have rarely
worked on, 8, 9, or 10 speed cassettes.

If someone here would be good enough to either, answer this question,
or point me to a place where I might find the answer, I would really
    appreciate it.

    Thanks.

    Lewis.

If a 7SP cassette fits w/o using a spacer on the "backside", then you
have a true 7SP freehub body. As such, it will not fit a 8, 9, or 10SP
    cassette.

It is shimano hyperglide compatibe so any shimano hyperglide cogset
will work on it. White never made this freehub in a 7s hyperglide
height-this will work with hyperglide 7/8/9/10s cogs..
