query on lidl toolkit

Is it a freewheel or a cassette? It should fit a cassette (though I haven't
tried that, prefering to use the proper shimano tool which I already own).
In either case it is possible to regrease the bearings without removing
freewheel/cassette, but easier if you do.

not having seen the kit; I used to use screw on freewheels but having
gone over to cassette found that the same tool will also loosen the
cassette; although they are not the same tool, the proper cassette one
is shallower and seems to have slightly thinner splines, I have since
bought the right tool (a Park IIRC). I would have bought the toolkit
but the only tool in it I did not have was the cassette locking tool;
seemed a bit much to buy the whole kit just for that (although they
probably cost as much as the whole kit). I currently use a workmate to
do the job with varying results.

I kept getting terribly confused between the two as both my freewheel and
cassette tools are Park. The freewheel one almost fitted cassettes, but
then slipped, leading to alarums and excursions. I have solved this problem
by hiding the freewheel remover at the bottom of the toolbox...

I don't have the full kit but would expect it to include both freewheel
and cassette removers. The cassette remover should fit any Shimano
cassette but not freewheels. Freewheel remover, I don't know; there are
many types. Certain bottom bracket removers look similar, too.
