It wasn't me...but you WILL develop this weird urge to chase after other bents you see now and then.
Note: if in a car don't be surprised if they try and run for it.
a) they think they [censored] you off and you wanna hurt them, b) they wanna see if you really are
following them and then they panic, c) avoid yelling heh I'm BENT Too...just in case pedestrians
think you are a pervert chasing another pervert Re: Bent has some kinky connotatations). Best way
to strike up a conversation with someone on a bent...is be on one yourself.

Before I'd even taken delivery of my first bent, I was looking at other bents with an eye to
future purchases, just like others in this group had advised I would, and now you're
informing me that I will develop a tendancy to chase down other bents I see. Grin, are we
all so much alike? Gotta love it!

These thoughts actually crossed my mind as I considered stopping for a chat. He looked
pretty intent on his ride, and rain was threatening. I figured if the roles were reversed,
I'd be pretty intent on getting in before the clouds let loose, so I let him go unmolested.

I like this option! Keeps pedestrians and onlookers on thier guard, and the other rider
"should" know where you're coming from. I like it!

Sort of in line with this, but a little further in the past . .

I think it was the summer of 2002 (maybe even 2001) and I was driving through a small town in
Ontario called Alliston. We stopped to do some shopping, and there parked by the curb along
mainstreet was a tandem trike that looked to be about 40 feet long (I'd never seen one prior to
that, let alone know they even existed). I'm just about positive it was a Greenspeed.

As the GS tandem trikes are pretty rare in Canada, I was wondering if anyone here in the NG was
one of the pair that was touring on it? I think I read somewhere that there is a GS tandem owner
in Ottawa.

That would be Richard Guy Briggs from Ottawa. He has a GTV Greenspeed and is a car-free fellow who
trikes all over that region. You will find him on the IHPVA trikes list.
