So I'm ready to upgrade bikes. I've done two summers of tri's on a single speed and I've got pretty competitive so I'm looking for a boost in performance but not break bank.
In my price range I'm looking at Cannondale's CAAD10 105. From what I read for $1499 I'm getting a really light road bike with great performance. Hows this compare to a similarly priced tri bike like the Felt s22? Am I paying the same price for downgraded quality just because its a tri bike or will the performance be similar?
This is going to be my only bike so it'd be for everyday training, long rides, occasional group rides and of course tris. I'm leaning toward the caad10 with some clip-ons so i have some versatility if i end up doing different types of riding but I'm really not sure because i still want highest performance for tri season. Are there any significant advantages of the felt over the cannondale with clipons?
Any other bike suggestions in this ball park would be awesome too.
