I'm creating a new award: Quote of the month. The first nominee being
for the following gem:
"Has this apparent research on the 1999 Tour de France been widened to
other sports events in France in the same year (Roland Garros, football
World Cup) - why was the Tour de France chosen?"

This could be an interesting contest, though that isn't a very interesting
nominee.
So I'll nominate these two:
1. "Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job"
2. a week later Brownie got replaced as being in charge of federal Katrina
efforts, and when asked if he was being made a scapegoat for the lousy
response, Brown replied (paraphrasing here) "maybe by the media but not by
the president"
