Q: Book on assembling a bicycle

Zinn and the Art of xxxx Bike maintenance has done me well (I've the
road bike version). While it doesn't specifically tell you how to
build a bike from from all of the parts, it tells you how to replace
everything, thereby telling you how remove and then re-install
something. The book is well organized by sections of the bike and has
good diagrams.

Check your toolbox first and make sure you have everything you need.
Some things like brackets and headsets can be a pain if you don't have
the right tool.
