  1. Hey folks,
I'm planning a Calais (France) to Granada (Spain) cycle tour. Does anyone know where the best place is to cross the Pyrenees?????

any info on such tours welcome, thanks

  2. Depends on what you see as the best option.

There are basically three options left Perpignan middle and right Biarritz.

Left has the benefit that mountains aren't that high there as you pass it at the ocean side, beware its not sea level but maybe 800m or something altitude. Wetter tends to be good here on the side of the mediterrainian sea.

Middle smack trough Andorra is certainly in cycling perspective the most challenging way benefit you get a great mountain and do some renowend climbs, downside its hard work.

Right the big ocean's side of passing advantage not that high, downside it tends to rain a lot(and then really a lot) on the spanish side of the pyrenees here.

There are of course various smaller passings in between.

Must have some map stashed away somwhere so feel free to sak for more altitude specific questions.
