I've been using Tufo S3 Lite (215g) for all purpose training, and I've
had excellent luck with them. I don't know what caused your flat, but
next time use the sealant *after* you have the flat. I carry one of
those tiny valve tools and a small tube of sealant in one of my jersey
pockets. I haven't needed it yet.

Nope, I use Sprinters on the rear exclusively and get few flats, maybe one, two
per year. Perhaps ya ought to learn to repair them, not hard at all. Seam
ripper, patches, fat needle, thimble, waxed dental floss.

Comps are going to offer marginally more flat protection than Sprinters. They
have an extra belt under the tread.

For training, I'd ride the S22s (250g)... IF you flat, you're out $20 not $80.
