Had my car stolen. Tire pump was in the trunk.

Looking for a decent model without spending too much money.

Any recommendations?

I saw a Nashbar pump:

Nashbar Pump L=3FOrange Floor Pump

Thanks for any info.

Topeak (road) morph. Frame pump that turns into [nearly] a floor pump.

And get rid of your other pumps, so you always know where it is and
whether it still works.

Many people agree with you about the Topeak Road Morph Pump with gauge. Here
is a link to 21 reviews, most of which are favorable.
http://www.mtbr.com/reviews/Pump/product_86619.shtml

So I bought one some months ago, to be used in an emergency at the office.
My floor pump is at home, which I use twice a week, as my primary pump.

Based on the MTBR reviews of this pump, it sounds like this is probably (one
of) the best portable pumps. But I think most floor pumps will be MUCH
easier to use than ANY portable pump.

Since Bob did not indicate that he needs portability, my suggestion to him
is to stick with the floor pump design. Because the gauge is more accurate,
and easier to read, especially if it is mounted high. And it is much easier
and faster to fill a tire with a floor pump, especially at higher PSI.

The road morph is my favorite hand pump. Fits in a Mule, comfortable to use.
But for the car I bought an electric pump, works off the car or AC.
Makes multiple inflations much easier on old shoulders.

Sorry about your car. Glad to see your priorities are in order.

Well, a pump in working order is one of my requirements. I have a
Topeak Road Morph, the problem is the cap that holds the two valve
parts into the head keeps coming off. Is there any replacement heads
with or without a pressure gauge (good at guessing with my thumb) that
will fit? The other heads seem to need a different hose size, and
other portable pumps are hard to use, take longer to pump, don't
produce full pressure, DON'T have a hose so you are not moving the
tire valve around.

I wore out one floor pump helping other people with flat 2/3 through
Ragbrai, had to buy another one during the ride.
