  1. Hello!

How high can your pulse rate be before it's dangerous ? I'm a fit, young man, not overweight, and I
work out almost daily (both weights and cardio). My normal pulse rate is about 75 per minute.
However, I occasionally use drugs recreationally, and have sometimes registered pulse rates up to
160 beats pr. minute. Is this dangerous in any way ?

    Thank you for your help.

  2. Mine topped 200 BPM once, due to untreated Graves Disease, and I spent a week in the hospital. One
nurse told me they were laying bets I wouldn't make it through the night. My heart was misfiring
    like a dying jalopy, too.

My wife just spent a month in the hospital for various severe health reasons, barely escaping death.
    Her BPM was over 100.

I think you're probably lucky to be alive if your heart stays that fast for too long.
