  1. Usual stuff, goto
    http://www.stuartstuart.fsnet.co.uk/hillwalking/index.htm
and follow link to Maoile Lunndaidh

This is the first time I have approached this hill from the Loch Monar side,
far far better than the slog up the road from Glen Carron.

Some impressive views of the remote Lurg Mhor, I have done Lurg Mhor from
the Bearnais side, but seeing the impressive eastern ridge I am needing to
get back, but without a boat I am not sure how to achieve this, maybe
Killilan - Iron Lodge - Pait lodge, do the hill then down to Bothy Bearnais
then back out to Killilan via river Ling. A tough 35 mile!

  2. I looked at that route for future reference when I climbed the Corbett
An Sidhean. I have to agree it is a far superior route than coming in
from the north. The only downside is access to Strathfarrar between
April and October when the Gateman is working.

    Liked the photos.
