  1. So after a lot of research for a 6ft 3in tall 300lb man, I was sent to look at GIANT bikes. They make a lot of good stuff for bigger people and had some high praise from several online communities. Now I will be riding mine in some dirt and sidewalks, no road, so I bought this bike: GIANT REVEL 29er

My question is, being 310 lbs, what PSI do I put in those tires? They say 65max on the side.

  2. I would do max for sure. Might even opt for higher psi tire with a stiffer sidewall. I just changed from a Kenda Hybrid tire that had a 65 psi max and stiff sidewall to a Serfas Touno that has a 100psi max and thinner sidewall. I am 6'1" and 230 pounds. I wonder if someone makes a 100psi tire with a stiffer sidwall? I am guessing you have 700x32 tires??

  3. Oops I see you have a 29er

  4. This is what my tire says on the side. Make of this what you will.

  5. I Am guessing at 310 pounds your tires going to be squatting. I would ask the bike shop what they recommend.
