I am considering a propstand for my main bike. Unfortunately the clearance between the BB, chainstays and bridge looks too small to fit one there. I also tow a chainstay clamping trailer occaisionally so I don't think a rear of chainstay/seatstay clamped stand would fit either. My question, for anyone who is familiar with the second type (eg BBB stand on <url:http://www.gearshift.co.uk/acatalog/copy_of_Propstands.html>😉 is are they handed and could they be frigged to fit on the drive side? Would they definitely foul the chain?
My other question is does anyone have any other suggestions (preferably involving minimal modding)? The bike is a Trek 1200 (Alu road frame)

The trailer hitch I have has an integrated point for attaching a propstand. This works very nicely.
I would imagine that even if you could find an underhand stand for the other side, it would foul the rear derailleur.

I have a Weber hitch on my trailer, the 'on bike' fitment is small and fits on the axle leaving the way clear for a stand to be fitted. They do do a prop stand with integral hitch fitment, but the stand is a load of [censored].
