Has anyone used this? PROLONG certainly works better than anything else on rusty bolts, squeeking hinges and as a sewing machine lubricant. None of the specialist bike lubricants have given me good service lives.

There was a thread a while back, that talked about using Mobile 1 synthetic for chain lube ! Basically, use what ever lubricant... but dilute it some with mineral spirits ....... I'm not sure exactly what ratio to use, though.
I personally plan on trying the Mobile 1 experiment... sometime soon.
