  1. Is there anywhere preferably in the UK that still has stock of Mountainspeed speed springs for the
    above bike? It appears the above company has ceased making them and my elastomers are shot!

    Or are there any other options available or is the bike throw away now?

    I'm told that boiling the elastomers gives them a short new lease of life. Just shove 'em in the pad
    with the spuds for Sunday lunch. No-one will notice.

    Proflex became K2, and K2 discontinued the old elastomer design. You might want to check around the
    k2bikes.comk2bikes.com site, though, to see if you can find a dealer in your area that might have
    parts for some of the old stuff. /s
