Problems with Polar IR interface

I've just bought HRM POlar s610 with a USB IR interface. I followed installation instructions
properly, but still can't get the connection. I have P4 home computer with Windows XP Home edition
and all the latest updates of Polar Precision Software. Upon trying to connect I usually get the
message "Communication gates couldn't be opened", or the interface can't connect with HR monitor or
even worse: the windows doesn't recognize the USB driver which is suposed to be in the software. I
wonder if any of S610 users has had the same problems?
