  1. Dont know if anyone can help - Im in the process of setting up some sti
levers on a Dawes Galaxy (RSX 24 speed gearing, 30/42/52 chainset) -
the left hand lever only appears to have 2 definate clicks (dont know
if I have been sold duff levers or I managed to bugger them up trying
to get the front indexing working last night)- they are clearly marked
triple on the lever hood, should there be 2 or 3 clicks on the levers ?
I suspect I may have damaged the rachet mechanism, but arent too sure.
I know that sti cant be repaired, and cant be bothered to spend even
more money - every job done on this recently bought bike has been a
nightmare (last owner kindly left almost every bolt rusted in, several
with crossed threads), so my only option now is to run the bike on the
middle and inner rings, or put the old friction bar end lever back on.

Only two clicks - 1 from inner to middle, 2 from middle to outer (or vice
    versa), so no particular
problems there. I've had problems setting up a sora front mech to change
    cleanly - however,
I do have the instructions as a pdf if required - setting up is a little
    different to other shimanos.

    Cheers,
    Graham

  3. Yes, pdf doc would be very useful - cheers. Reason I asked about
clicks, was that Park Tool website says triple should have 3 clicks

Docs are on the Shimano website, for some reason, I couldn't get to the
    European site:
    http://www.shimano.com.au/publish/content/australia/en/cycling/customer_
    support/service_diagrams/road_2005.html
