If you own a domain, somehow you have to register your name and address as the owner of the domain. Now this becomes somewhat of a problem, as I will make a bike blog to try to make money off of advertising and it will partially refer to a book that I'm writing that I would possibly sell on Nook, Amazon, and iPad formats. Now I'm not having good progress on the book, as writing means you have to know a lot of stuff that your writing about. So maybe I'll just sell a cheap short book on "Biking for Transportation and Weight Loss." Anyway, my bike blog will show off my $36,280 bike collection. Problem is, can web viewers easily find out my home address from looking up ownership the website domain? Maybe I shouldn't register my ownership but is this required? How can I protect myself from a potential thief who'd look up my address and rob me? I have some hard to get and expensive bikes in my collection. Especially some treasured vintage bmx bikes that catch a good price on ebay.
I'm doing this to make $$$ because I'm 4 years unemployed now, and I need a good side income besides SSDI or regular work.
