As I predicted Melchers beat Wood but the Russian beefcake's
win was no surprise after watching her stage wins in the
Grande Boucle last year. Russian girls are looking good
again this year as Olga got 7th. Fabi didn't fair well at
38th as did Nicole at 27th but according to CN Fabi did a
great race. Amber and Edita a little better at 24th and
25th, but check this out, Marion Clignet at 34th, there's an
old dog on a comeback. Brunkner way down at 49th, and Rasa,
Petra and Susan didn't fair well either. I didn't think
Judith would be that far down, 79th as is Dotsie. Nicole
Freedman finished outside the time limit.
