Does using threaded presta valves screw up the rubber bushings on pumps more than smooth valves? It is harder to release threaded valves from my floor pump and over time, the rubber sealing bushings on the pump nozzle looks chewed up. I have high profile rims that require 60mm stems and I have a hard time finding them with smooth stems. Anyone know a good source?
