presta inners in schreader hole?

  1. can you put presta inners in schreader hole? i know it will fit, but i am worried about it being
    rubbed. is it only really ok as a short term solution - i.e. to get you home?

  2. Not a big deal - some do it all the time. Problem Solvers among others makes a shim/grommet for this
    purpose - ask your LBS.

    There are also inner tubes made to fit a Schrader rim hole that work with a Presta pump: Dunlop
    Continental makes them. If you already have a Schrader drilled rim and want to use Presta inner
    tuber, grommets are a good idea, but not required.
