Any suggestions for the meals before a marathon?
I just went to do my first marathon, and hit thewall at 32K (I thought that was early - I did 30 the
week before, and was much better off.) I really think it was a diet thing.

It's a bit early to be asking that question, right ? You're next marathon will be in what, another
year or so ?
That's the thing about marathons. You don't get to screw it up and go run another one next week.

You ran too fast, faster than your 30 miler, that's why you hit the wall.
Practice on your long runs, so your body is adjusted to it. Some people learn to eat power gels,
etc. for energy.
Its easy to start too quick in marathon with all the excitement. Yhis may account for the difference
with your training runs.
