  1. Hi all
I'm hoping someone might be able to give me a hand. I was in a bad crash a few weeks ago, and ended up in hospital. I was riding in a bunch and when it happened some other poor fellow ran over my rear wheel, which must have already hit the ground quite hard. The wheel has a powertap SL 2.4 wireless ANT+ hub. The rim was buckled, and i had it replaced.
Since the crash, HR and speed display fine, but watts are only showing a fraction of what they should be every now and then, and zero the rest of the time. Occasionally, especially when climbing, cadence appears with an inaccurate watts reading, and it seems accurate, but most of the time displays as zero.
I've done everything i can think of: relearned hub, changed hub (but not computer) batteries, updated firmware, zeroed torque, and now i'm really worried that the hub must have been damaged in some way.
If anyone has any advice, I'd love to hear it.
    Many thanks

  2. The torque tube may have been damaged in the crash.

If the hub is not under warranty, it's a $300 cost to overhaul the hub: new torque tube and new bearings. I just had an overhaul done and turnaround time was ~ 10-12 days door-to-door. Not sure what the cost would be if you need the hub built into a new hoop.
