Does anyone know how to set the PT receiver to a cyclocomp and with its HRM enabled? Or is that even possible? Thanks!

Yes, It is described in the manual. You have to go into the setup menus and change the mode.
You need a rear wheel magnet and you will need the magnet to run very close (physically) to the receiver because the PT receiver's reed switch (the item that interacts with the wheel magnet to sense the wheel revolution) is not very sensitive compared to other bike computers that I have used.
