  1. About halfway through my ride, in my downloaded data (looking at the excel file), all the data goes crazy. Like 66237 watts and 130mph and it goes back and forth like that the rest of the ride, making no sense whatsoever.

During my ride, the power cpu display was normal and accurate the entire ride. So it doesn't seem that the torque tube blew or anything.

Why would it download data that was completely different than my ride? All of this started about halfway through, the first half of downloaded data was completely correct.

I just hope my next ride goes back to normal, or I won't be able to view my rides anymore!?

  2. Yeah that's strange, especially since the CPU data seemed to be recorded correctly. Sounds like the file got corrupted, have you tried reloading it, possibly with a different load tool like PowerAgent if you normally use WKO+ or maybe Golden Cheetah?

I'd probably start by clearing the memory and perhaps power cycling the PT CPU by pulling the battery before your next ride and then see what happens.

Does the peak power recorded in your PT CPU show realistic peak values or the out of range values shown in your downloaded file?

  3. Peak readings on the CPU were legit, from the first half of the ride where I did a sprint.

Yeah somehow the file got corrupted halfway through. CPU and hub seem to be fine.

I am using one of the old software versions to upload the data. Then I close the program and analyze the file myself in excel.

  4. Try loading a newer version of PowerAgent. There may be something wrong with the version you're using. Here's a link to get you started: Saris Cycling Group

  5. Everything went back to normal without doing anything. Next ride download was correct.
