Is there a relationship curve b/n best sustained power o/p and time duration? That is, for a given rider's FTP, can one extrapolate the power level for a 30mins or 20mins spurt, and vice versa? Just curious.

Thanks Dave. I appreciate the difference b/n individuals. Sprinter vs TT specialist comes to mind.
I was just trying to get a feel of how the relationship works.

just adding a word of caution here: don't extrapolate past the 1-hr/FTP mark with CP-Monod. It will nearly always overestimate power and get worse as you go further to the 'right'.
