  1. How do these work? I mean, what do you fix them to or whatever? When you
    buy them, do you just get the rings and some strapping, and if so, what
    next, fling them over a tree!?

    If you have traditional floor or ceiling joists in your basement or garage,
    you simply drill a hole through the side. Then insert a eyebolt with two
    nuts on it. Install almost anything through the eye. Often used for
    punching bags with links of chain to allow for height changes.

    That's what some of the crossfit guys do. The set comes with the straps
    which allows you to wind them around just about any horizontal bar/branch.
    There are many exercises you can do even with a low ceiling. I want to get a
    pile of wood chips or some impact absorbing material before I do any moves
    that might have me hitting the ground on my head.
