  1. Do any of the power meter packages (Power Taps, SRM,
    etc.) record altitude? I couldn't find any mention of it
    in the specs.

    However, one can do this: mywebpage.netscape.comrec

    The Polar 720i with the power option records altitude,
    speed, cadence, power, and heart rate.
