Power grip strap replacements

I have a pair of Power Grips in the extra-large size. The extra-large Power Grips consist of one
regular strap with an extra length of strap material appended to it via three pop rivets that fasten
the two pieces together. When I contacted the vendor and told them how unprofessional that seemed --
i.e., why not use one longer piece? -- they replied that the rivets were necessary to stiffen the
strap material enough for it to hold its shape in the extra-long size. You may want to keep that
in mind if you attempt to lengthen the straps.
