Power assist bicycles are a great way to get around.
The harder the pedals are pushed the more assisted power goes to the drive train. There is no assisted power when the pedals are not pushed.
The extra push allows the rider to get up hills, cut the wind and get through snow easily.
The older model power assist bicycles have some problems and I have solutions to these problems on the GT Charger and Giant Lafree bicycles.
