The Potomac is up. My 349 front axle on my bent was clearly submerged this evening by over an inch at the centers. My dual drive rear is on a 406, so I may have turned back in time, but since I couldn't see, it may have been partially submerted. The pedal downstroke is lower than the hub center but higher than the hub bottom. The pedals stayed out of the water.
Any concerns about water getting in the dual drive hub?
Any checks or maintenance I should perform as a result of this excersion?
The Dual Drive tech manual warns against spraying water back there.
I just got a dualdrive Hybrid bike, so I'm no expert, but I called SRAM to ask about general maintenance. He said to remove the drive screw, which is the long screw that goes through the hub. and to clean and lubricate it every 3 months. So, I would guess you should do that as a minimum after having it be submerged.
