Hi Awesome Athletic Women-
I am new to posting here. Anyone in the Portland, OR area? I am going to be moving there in one month. I finally got a grown up job and will be buying a road bike soon, followed by mountain bike when I can save the money again. Any suggestions regarding good bike shops in the area? Up to this point I have been riding a heavy slug. Bye, bye slug, hello speed.

veloce bicycles on 32nd and hawthore. he is a great guy and sells used road bikes. you can get a great bike at a good price.
Portland has a number of great bike shops Sellwood bicycle repair also sales used quality Road and Mt. bikes. The Bike Gallery on 50th. and Sandy Blvd. is also a great place to shop.
We also have a women only ride group every sunday.
Wecome to Portland a great cycling city with great coffee shops.

What time and where do you meet to ride. It would be awhile before I would be able to show up, but its good to know there are women out there riding together.
