i'm not sure that a bike designed in a studio that has won an award for appearance is a good idea...its an old design going back to the late 90's, used to be available with an alunimum frame...

BMW and Ferrari, among others, make bikes as well...I tried a BMW a few years ago and wasn't impressed...that extra shock on the fork was odd, but the fact that it folded wasn't a bad idea (unless it folded on you on the trails)

...you see them on eBay occassionaly

Might just be me but I think you might be having a bit of a laugh, ur looking at an 2002 porsce evolution - did they make an 03 version 😉 If you are being serious, the question shouldn't be is this bike any good - it should be this is the type of riding I wish to do (then specify) and is this bike any good for that. my mates got a lovely Giant downhill machine, that is a top bike, but it would be useless for me riding trails! Bike companies generally make bikes, car companies generally make cars, it kind of works for most of us. Prestige car companies tend to make bikes that have stacks of the lastest technology on them, but as the chap above states, they tend to design them in a lab - and there is a phase 'all the gear but no idea'!

Given the $10k price tag I might be tempted for the gekkomat - enabling me to climb like a gekko! (strange but i never thought I wanted to climb like a gekko till I saw it 😄 ) Then at least I might have some change left over from which I could buy a bike 😉

But that is just my opinion it could be the bike of the decade!

Personally I wouldn't touch a bike "made by" a luxury car company. I'd say the bulk of them would just be cheap n nasty no-name bikes being rebadged as "luxury" products. Paying for the badge IMHO.
