Request From: "Ronny Burns" <[email hidden]> I have been
cooking pork chops by browning them with some onion and bell
pepper. I would like something a little different but
equally easy to do with pork chops. Nothing too strange for
my family but to make a little variety. Thanks so much!
Pork Chop Casserole
Potatoes 1 can of cream of mushroom soup. pork chops
seasoned salt pepper.
I make a casserole type dish out of pork chops for my family
and it disappears every time. First, peel and slice enough
potatoes for the number of people you plan to serve. For
four servings, I usually use 4 to 5 medium potatoes. Layer
these in a greased 9" x 13" pan. Then pour over a can of
cream of mushroom soup. Layer your pork chops on top. Again,
for four servings, use 4 pork chops. Sprinkle chops with
some seasoned salt and a bit of pepper. Bake, uncovered, in
a 350 degree oven for about an hour or until chops are done.
It usually is about an hour unless you use really thick
chops. Then, allow some extra time. Remove from oven and put
chops on a serving plate. Stir potatoes a bit and scoop into
a bowl. They will be a bit like scalloped potatoes. Add a
vegetable or a salad and you've got one easy dinner! Enjoy!
