  1. Help!

I just bought a home and the previous owner left no manuals
or instructions for the pump or pool heater.

As a previous spa owner, I understand the chemical balances
with chlorine, PH, alkaline, etc. But I have two quick
    questions.

    1. What is and how do I "backwash" the filter?
    2. Exactly when does the muratic acid come into the picture.

My pump is a Swimquip DES 60 and the heater is a Laars
    Teledyne series one.

Thanks for any light anyone can shed on this for me.

    Best,

    Phillip

  2. Nevermind. I finally found the manuals.

Got it made in the shade now 😉

    Phillip
