  1. Installed an S series power module on a full susp MTB. I'd appreciate any help on the two questions below. Thanks Tim

    1. Based upon some prior experience with power tap I'd like to increase the polar power output value by 5 to 10% across-the-board. Of the three inputted values chain weight, chain length, and hub to crank distance which variable should be adjusted and in which direction?

    2. The polar literature describes three lights: green, yellow, and red representing cadence, chain speed, and wheel speed respectively. The interesting thing is when I turn the crank I see a red light and a green light but no yellow light. The watch however shows cadence and power, but no wheel speed.

I've replaced the battery in the bike mount. The watch will display a speed when used with a wireless speed sensor on the front tire in the usual manner.

  2. First as a long time polar power user I can say that it is absolutely not recomended for off road use. You will not get good numbers with it. As I use the wireless version I can't offer any insight on your questions.

  3. Thanks I have a road wheelset (700c) for commuting. Tim
