  1. Hi Everyone,

I have a question re: lap distances in the Polar Precision
Software for running. I get arbitrary and incorrect tiny lap
distance values (eg .032) which really messes up some of the
stats. Not critically important at this point in my training
    but would like to recitfy.

I can update the distance total in the Diary window on that
Exercise but it won't translate to the Lap Times window.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Mike

    Hello Mike,

If you right-click the training graph, you have an option
'Laps...' or 'lap times...' or something (I don't have
the english version installed, so I have to guess a bit).
Clicking this gives you the possibility to edit and
delete the lap information. Maybe this way you can solve
    the problem?

I have also a question: it happens sometimes that I do a
training without my Polar (e.g. because I forgot it at
home). Then I can manually add a training. I can enter the
distance for this training, but I can not enter my training
time, so my distance statistics are correct, but my time
statistics aren't. Is there a solution for this? I tried
manually creating some kind of a dummy hart rate file (.hrm)
which I can use as some kind of a template for this
situation, but this was a bit to complex...

I am Using Polar Precision Performance Software v4.01.030
    with a S410.

    regards,

    Jurgen

<snipped anal stuff about recording training>

Guys, when your run is over, it's over. That's it. Gone. It
don't count no more. It's a dead run, a past event, of
little or no significance to your running future.

Look to the future. Unless you're a military strategist, you
won't find many clues to your future by studying your past

so why do you even bother to react to something that doesn't
interest you, that doesn't help us, that is written in the
past and that doesn't contribute to your glorious future? Do
you get a kick from writing 'anal' in a post or something?

Jurgen, truth to tell even I don't know why I keep coming
back here to pass on my worldly gems. I think it's the
philanthropist in me. I simply *must* guide you fellows back
on the straight and narrow when I see you stumbling towards
    the pit of ignorance.

Usually, though it didn't give me quite the thrill I was
expecting this morning. Perhaps it was the fact that my
botty is rather sore at the mo'. Something to do with
    impemding piles I shouldn't wonder.
