I have a Polar S725 monitor and will be away for a weeks training next year so am trying to think of different ways to keep the information.
The ideal way would be to store the info on my windows smart phone using the mobile link. I have contacted polar and they have no plans to use any other manufacturer apart from Nokia, I am not going to buy a new phone so has anyone been able to transfer info to their smart phone for storage and retrieve it at a later date?

It depends how many inputs you're recording, what the sample rate is, and how much riding you'll be doing. I would think you could easily record a week's worth of training all on the watch if you're prepared to loose some detail.

Any suggestions you guys have are welcome.

I record 2 weeks of data (12 days training) on mine every year in Mallorca. Just reduce the sampling rate down. RTM, it will show how much memory it uses depending on the sampling rate and which functions you have turned on.

If you cycle 7 days for 8 hours a day, thats 56hours of data - record at a rate of 60s and you'll have no problem even if you have the power sensor and all options turned on...
