Polar Battery Change

Ive the S410 also
How do you change the battery in it as its a sealed unit?
Also what battery does it take.

Apparently theres a newer chest strap which has come out over recent times.
I think its called meshlink something or rather and is conductive over the
whole front part of the chest as in it has thin wires meshed through it as I
seem to have the problem of the electrode part of the monitor not touching
my chest as I have a cavity there, due to my pecks.
I also seem to get false/phantom readings as a result

I've changed a battery on an S410, taking great care to clean the seal and
put sealant on it.

There are hardly any "pieces". Maybe you have done something strange and
excessive with a button...

The S410 is the unit I have. There is a spring and a black screw that I can't
quite figure out. I suspect the spring goes under the black plastic, but the
screw has me. I don't see any place it could have come from. I have the unit
working, but can't figure out if the screw came from some other device, or
really does go inside somewhere. It seems to work fine (although the
backlight button doesn't seem to work any longer).

I think I recall a plate to hold the battery in place, and the plate was a bit
tricky to
put in place it had to be bent and levered in to place). My unit is quite old
(when
they first came out). Maybe the S410 changed.

I don't recall a spring (but it was about 9 months back, so maybe I just forgot.
[I've changed other batteries since then - fogs the memory].
