I've been having some problems with my Polar where it hasn't been picking up data from the Power Sender, sometimes it's cadence, sometimes it's speed/distance.
After cleaning the contacts, changing the battery in the receiver unit and taking the back off the unit to check the internal connections I finally took apart the connector that links the receiver to the cables and found that the 3 connections had pretty much corroded away. One was completely corroded off the other 2 were a mess.
Anyway, I'm going to cut corroded parts away and resolder, only trouble is I don't know which colour wire connects to which pin, anybody have a clue?
I'm not sending it back to Polar as it's out of warranty and the cost of Fedex there and back and the cost of the repair I might as well buy a Powertap!

Assuming you can still see the pin numbers on the solder-side of the connector.
1=Blue 2=Red 3=Green
If you can't see the pin numbers, with the solder connections facing you, and the locating slot at the bottom.
