  1. I just got my Polar S720i, installed it on my bike and took it for a ride. When comparing the speed readouts vs. the other 2 computers on my bike (Shimano Fight Deck, and Cat-Eye Astrale) I get speed readots that are almost double what the other two are reading. I have checked the wheel circumfrence and re-checked it twice. I put in 2096 (direct from the polar manual) and I used 2105 from the Flight Deck manual. both times the speed is almost twice what the other two show. Any ideas??

  2. Perhaps the CatEye and FlightDeck are set to miles per hour, and the Polar is set to kilometers per hour, the factor would then be 1.6 * the speed read out.

  3. After checking out a couple websites I found that I had the sensor too close to the magnet as it rotated by. After adjusting the angle slightly it work perfectly. I had been thinking the close I got the sensor to the magnet the better "reception" it would get. Turns out that was not the case. Thanks for all the help
