I am new to raod racing and was wondering how the point system worked in regards to categories. born on april 30, 1986 and currently attending university. Also, I went to the usa cycling website to buy a liscence but wondered which one i should get. THanks

I am not sure on the points, you can only buy a cat 5 license if it's your first, wait until next month to buy your license, I just bought one last month and it expires Dec. 31st🙁 . USCF website has rule/guideline book that explains the point system and how to qualify for upgrades.
