What, exactly, does this mean?
Bicycling magazine refers to the Specialized Roubaix as a plush bike but never uses the term when referring to the Specialized Tarmac. Yet, the geometries of both bikes are extremely similar.
Just wondering what makes a road bike plush or not.

Bikes are plushified through a plethora of means--extending the wheelbase, slackening the angles, using thinner tubes, using thinner-walled tubes, using different materials. The Specialized Roubaix is made plush by "zertz" inserts, some sort of gel-composite button in the forks and stays that reportedly dampens road shock. I hear they work.

The zertz inserts do work - the Tarmac has them too.
