I started a thread last week asking people’s advice on using a 10 speed Ultegra Cassette with a full Dura-Ace set up…
Well, I have now installed the 10 speed Ultegra Cassette and did a 50 mile (80km) ride without any problems.
The next day I went on another ride and now I have shifting problems… Here’s what’s happening:
Shifts clean on the up shift (from High to Low 1-10)
Shifts clean on the down shift from 1 to 3
However on the downshift from 3 to 10 the chain will not engage!! Please Help🙁
If you have used a new gear cable it could need retentioning as they can stretch on the first use. Try adjusting the rear mech tensioner or if you have one use the one on the frame bosses. Your rear mech instructions should help. Or else go to your LBS.
