  1. At last, I have the proposed Bicycle Master Plan for London, Ontario,
    Canada.

    http://www.london.ca/Planning/bicycle-master-plan.htm

The current deadlines are to have written submisssions by May 20 (
about 10 days from now) and there will likely be a public meeting in
    mid to late June.

I would deeply appreciate any comments from this group.

I am especially hoping for specific and well-researched commentary,
to be better able to shape a great cycling plan for my city.
If anyone can lead me to any studies I would be very happy.

Unfortunately we do NOT have a well-organized or structured cycling
    community here.

Due to troubles accessing this group- it would be best if specific
research could be sent to my email address.

    Thanks.

One of the big problems getting people to bike is the pushing of bikes
off to the side of the road where dooring is a problem. There is no
way that cities will have roads that are only for bikes, but I think
it's possible to have roads that are only for buses and bikes. This
will speed the buses along the route and free up lots of space for
    bikes.

Get the one from Windsor. When I was writing the one for Grand
Rapids (Mich) I ran across it--very nicely done.
