    Gold Mine Apricot Nut Bread
    Recipe By: Barb Schaller 12-9-2006, rfc post

    2 cups whole wheat flour
    2/3 cup all purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 cup brown sugar

    2 cups buttermilk
    1 cup dried apricots soaked, then cut
    into small pieces
    1/2 cup chopped walnuts
    2 Tbsp. wheat germ

    Combine first group of ingredients, mix well, then stir in second
    group of ingredients.

    Pour into greased and floured pan(s) and bake at 350° for 60 minutes,
    or until tests done with a wooden pick. Apricots, walnuts, and wheat
    germ may be omitted entirely.

    Makes one 9x5x3² loaf pan or two smaller.

    12/06 Note: I've got four small loaves, mini loaf size, (about 30-35
    minutes in the oven will do it) out and ready to cool and wrap in the
    morning.

    I wouldn't mind getting the cheese spread mixed tonight.

    ````````````````
    Question: What was that cheese spread recipe for the bread? If so,
    do you remember what you did?
